On the occasion of the Lok Sabha elections, the reputation of 18 MLAs of Belgaum district is at stake. This time he got tired while tallying up the votes he got in the last assembly elections.

There are five out of eight MLAs in Belgaum Lok Sabha constituency and five out of eight Congress MLAs in Chikodi constituency too. Of the two MLAs in Karwar, one is from the Congress and one from the BJP.

There are five Congress MLAs in Belgaum Lok Sabha Constituency namely Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Raju Seth, Mahantesh Kaujalgi, Vishwas Vaidya and Ashok Pattan. Abhay Patil, Ramesh Jarkiholi and Bhalchandra Jarkiholi are three BJP MLAs.
Lakshmi Hebbalkar is the Minister of Women and Child Welfare. The party has nominated his son Mrinal for the Lok Sabha. Therefore, ever since Mrinal’s candidature was announced, Hebbalkar has been campaigning on this foundation. He has got the support of the remaining four MLAs.
But, will it get the support of the voters in the MLA’s constituency? This is the question. BJP candidate Jagdish Shettar has three MLAs. Among them, Bhalchandra and Ramesh are in Jarkiholi constituency and they have also campaigned strongly for Shettar.
Abhay Patil has been given the responsibility of Telangana by the party, so he has not been able to participate much in the campaign, but how many votes will be given by these three MLAs? This is the focus of the knowledgeable.
Five Congress MLAs are Satish Jarkiholi, Laxman Savadi, Raju Kage, Ganesh Hukkeri and Mahendra Tamanavar in Chikodi constituency. Sasikala Jolle, Duryodhan Aihole and Nikhil Katti are three BJP MLAs.
