The result of Maharashtra Assembly election will be declared on 23 November 2024. As soon as the polls were over, various organizations released their exit polls. From that, it seems that Mahayuti can reach the majority in the state, but it is being claimed that Mahavikas Aghadi will give a tough fight.
If the Mahayuti of BJP and Shivsena (shinde group) gets a clear majority, the possibility of President’s rule will disappear. But if there is a collision and the independents get heavy, the situation can get serious. And only two days are left to form the government. Therefore, it is necessary to take oath on 24th November and form the cabinet by 25th. If that does not happen, the possibility of President’s rule in the state cannot be ruled out.
Meanwhile, according to exit poll data, independent and rebel candidates are likely to be kingmakers in this election. Therefore, veteran leaders of the Mahavikas Aghadi have started giving shelter to the rebels. Indian Constitutional expert Ulhas Bapat has expressed his opinion on what will happen if a deadlock situation arises after the verdict. According to him, the role of the governor will be important after the 23rd result. He explained that the group which will have the majority will have to give the majority letter to the governor.
According to the constitution, the governor cannot be called as the single largest party, said Bapat. The majority has to be proved within 26th. Legislative Assembly cannot be extended. President’s rule has to be imposed immediately.
We will go with CM shinde : Sanjay Shirsat
Different equations have been discussed in Maharashtra politics. It is being predicted that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and NCP President Sharad Pawar will come together. Nawab Malik, the leader of Ajit Pawar group, had also made such a statement. Now Shiv Sena Thackeray group leader, MLA Sanjay Shirsat has also made a similar statement. Eknath Shinde Saheb is going in the right direction. We will grab their shirt. We will accept the decision taken, said Sanjay Shirsat.
BJP leaders in touch with rebels
After the exit polls, Bharatiya Janata Party is now in action mode. BJP leaders are in contact with the rebels who are likely to win. Meanwhile, sources are also getting information that BJP will withdraw the action against the victorious rebels. This responsibility has been given to the senior leaders of the BJP in that department. Meanwhile, according to the exit polls of various organizations, there is a possibility of a Mahayuti government in the state.
